The Weekend that Came and Went With lightning Speed

Gosh! is it already tuesday today - time do really fly at a really frightful speed doesn't it. And, it is indeed a little disconcerting to know that in time to come, i will open my eyes and go - "ahhh... its been 30 years ago since i did that"... , or look into the mirror and see an old wrinkled face looking back. At this point, I am thinking of a non-botox kind of life.. i dont' really want eternal youth - that will be so... so... unreal... i suppose. Its not that i've been really thinking about old age, it just came to mind when i realise that time has been moving at lightning speed... ... It wouldn't be long before i find myself not living as a youth any longer


Anyway, i wasn't to talk about that - its too heavy a subject to discuss that early in the week. My weekend went well. I just have to tell you that i picked the perfect wine over the weekends. And i am so proud of myself. =) Ha! Was at wine culture at demsey over the weekends for some wine. I picked a nice red, 2002, limited edition, cabernet sauvignon, chilian red. Yummy! I'm glad i didn't pick the merlot - that would be awful i suppose. but then again, it depends on individuals. Some love it spicy, i like it fruity. so... it worked great for me. and my frens. phew! its been awhile since i've tasted nice wine - and it wasn't all that expensive.

it was a nice nite - with perfect company, with a perfect bottle of red. i dont' think anyone could ask for more. =) thought the part of staying awake while on my way home wasn't that good an episode. Fortunately, i had a ride back from a kind fren.

A quiet, but nice weekend. I did really enjoy myself. It was simple. don't you just love frens whom you can hang out with - not thinking about anything else, but just relaxing and enjoying one another's company... and knowing that the other is enjoying yours too ? ;)
