The New Convert - Arty

GOSH! Its a sudden mad rush, but I'm glad that we've finally started to put in more effort. We've moved on from pop-art movie posters to oils now. Whoopie!!!

PD and I spend 3hours at a single art gallery going through the pieces and deciding which ones to pick. We've picked 2 pieces, and both happen to lean toward fusion oriental. I thought I'll go for the more abstract pieces or more scenic pieces, but strangely, the pieces that PD and I have picked out were namely a beijing opera piece and a portrait of a learnt oriental lady, reading under the shade of a tree.

There were so many other pieces that we like so much - from a continental influence piece of flowers after flowers. Landscapes of green trees, red fury trees by the river, oriental door of opportunity - single large pieces - pieces that are broken up into 3 pieces, 5 pieces.

Such an aura of arts and visuals. It was lovely time spent - I believe PD is ready for an art musueme show now. *whoopie* (better keep those eyes peeled for one - I'm dying to go for one)

PD was so excited that he branched out from oils to chinese ink. His fancies, I noitce, generally has very clean lines and lots of a details, that generally, oils would not be able to manage like chinese ink or charcoal can achieve. We've been surfing and looking at possible art galleries that we can go visit.

Art galleries! Here we come.....
