HaZy ... GlOoMy... QuIeT..

what a bad combination for a mid week wednesday - hazy, gloomy and a really slow moving day. had loads of work cleared out of the platter, and i'm beginning to feel useless and the day's getting less eventful.

I even got down to reading blogs. pretty interesting ones i might add - one's on birthday dinner in a really weird staffed eating house in geyland, another one's in some, quote - "cute cafe" - and unquote. Really did cracked me up, that one. . ."Cute Cafe" - totally hilarious. But its a goodtype of funnie, not ridicu-ing funnie. That blogger's pretty young I reckon, and she provides pretty good entertainment I have to say. Its always interesting to read what others have to say on so many things... But, its just sad that she gets judged in the blogs....

gloomy weathered day

woke up to a not so sunny day this morning. wish i could have sleep in a little bit more. i've been late for work since monday, got to break this habit. i've been telling myself that i need to be in early in the morning - but - when the temptation and lure of sleeping in just for another minute seems overbearingly delightful.

fortunately, work has been great so far... nice pace... feeling sleepy now... and already wishing its the end of the day. I miss my baybee quite a bit. Its been more then 12 hours since we've been together.

no longer the teddy-rabbit

sob - did you realise that my blog's been renamed ? yes, i guess with such a name - there bound to be cheeky, tongue in the cheek questions flying by me and at me. so, i've opted for a safer, and still relevant name. "wishing you were there".

The New Face Lift

Notice the new face lift the blog's getting - its no longer that mundane header.. .Bbblog.. or something along that line. I've name my blog as the "teddy-rabbit blog". Why ? well - its a secret that my baybee and i share. anyhow - its a cute name isn't it ?

love the look and feel of the new cosmetic touches - but honestly, its off the shelve type of template. got it form blogger's default selection of template one can use... unlike the dilligent/ creative/ meticulous bloggers who takes pride in their blog ( which is a good thing, and don't you just adore reading their blogs ? ) i for one - is the extreme side of the whole blog thing - i pick default templates, be absoluately happy and proud over how much of a looker my blog is looking now. *snick* i'm no perfectionist i reckon.. there are some links are not working though - got to take a look at that.

The "hoops & yoyo" site - i love it to bits - they are hillariously cute. i love the way they quip in their high pitch, whiny voices. you'll love them. but, before that, i've to get round to fixing that link.

Zen Vs Ipod

was just looking through the usual credit card statement. saw this Zen promo in one of the colorful leaflets. its less then 300 for a 4Gb mp3 player.. cool! i'm not that pro Zen really - but for that amount, its makes a believer out of me any day. *winkz* talk about consumer loyalty... there isn't any really. well, i can't speak for all - i know some swear by particular brands.

was looking at the mini ipod till just seconds ago - like i say, the price tag's always the most important factor. its pricing vs cosmetic finishes of a product. for me - in this case, the former seems to take precedence.

honestly, do i really need such a huge memory space mp3 player ? i can't really decide- its a good to have. isn't it a haven to have all your favourite albums all into one portable player, though one doesn't necessary need all of them all at the same time. its a nice to have... but not a necessity. a nice-to-have, psychoed by the media - through the ingenious marketing of the producers of the product, sublimely effecting its power and willing us, willing me to think that i NEED to get them...

so, the question all boils down to the fact : to have, or not to have. to fight the battle with the must-haves... to be a warrior for the marketeer, or the marketer ? hmm....
