Our Failed CNY pork-floss roll

Someone came up with a brain child to gather to make some Chinese New Year goodies sometime ago. And of course, being really full of ourselves and thinking its going to be a piece of cake, since we are so use to taking on daily problems at work so easily, no kitchen will prove to be a difficult moutain to climb.

So we thought...

We were.. well, not really accurate in the forecast. Our pork floss roll turn out to be more like miniture popiahs. But, I have to admit that it was fun. (",)

The large and ugly looking ones are our first attempts - and it gets better. See the slightly smaller and golden-brownish ones in the background? that's our second lot and pretty near to perfection. (",)



That's how we do it... rolling tender, loving care...



Yummy food in the above pic. I started being obsessed with the combination of teochew porridge, pork floss and light soy sauce. Makes a yummy dinner. (",) Who cares about overly-oily pork floss rolls wanna-be? The treasure's in this bowl of lovely yummy..
