Busy Evening
Came back to a burning hot fevered PD last night. The entire house was without lights, the TV was on - phui was whining in the corner and PD was asleep on the couch. Poor things...
Phui-Phui was so happy when I got home. Poor little thing. He gets upset when the house is dark and his not in his precious expensive Serta bed, cuddled up between his mummy and daddy. He clamoured over me when I came in and I asked him - "where's daddy?" He whined alittle and walked further into the house and I followed.
PD was asleep, still unaware that I'm home. He was burning pretty badly. Woke him up and made him some herbal tea I bought from the chinese medicinal shop. He wasn't too keen on eating, so, I decided to cook some porridge.
I miss eating porridge anyway, after the lovely dinner on Saturday night. Dinner was simply white teochew porride, light-soy sauce and pork floss. The best dinner ever!!! YUMMY!
Set to work to clear up the clean clothes in the kitchen. (hate the smell of cooking on clean clothes), cook phui's dinner and dinner for the 2-legged people.
It was not till 8pm that we started eating - I was starving. Sigh... poor us... I couldn't help it. I reached home slightly pass 7, started cooking around quarter pass 7. While cooking, I did a couple of stuff - sort out the dirty laundry for cleaning, collect the clean clothes, folding the fresh clean clothes, wash the two bathrooms. Pretty efficient eh! (",)
After dinner, PD was back in his sofa brewing in his hot fever - after cleaning up 2 pots, 3 plates, 1 saucer, 2 pair of chopsticks and 2 soup spoons, it was decided to send PD to the clinic.
Upon reaching the clinic, his fever subsided slightly - and the doc took his temperature. It was 39.5 degrees. So, that means a painful jab to get rid of the fever. OUCH!!!
Rushed back home and decided that I needed to collect our chandlier at our sis-in-law's place as the electrician was coming over the very next day. So, off I went again.... all the way to hougang.
It took me approximately 45mins to get there (including finding the place). Fortunately, the light pieces weren't heavy. Thank goodness. Manage to get it up all by myself. (",)
*another proud moment*
All in all - I was exhausted by the time I hit the sack.. . and now, with sinus and irritated puffy eyes - I wish I was home, in bed..
