Global Foot Ball

The World Cup has started for about a week and so far, I've caught about 3 to 4 matches. But, for most times, I'm challenged with trying to stay awake for the full 90min + half time. Y es, half time is usually quite tough to survive. Especially when there's work the next day.

Hubby watches almost all 9pm matches, but rarely the later ones - why? because, it keeps me awake while he watches - so, he usually follows suit and goes to bed.

Its surprising to see our new fren, our home designer are chumps with hubby - its quite funnie when the 2 get together and start talking about boy-stuff. The usual mild mannered designer, lets call him kO, comes out of his closet, draped in World's Ah-Beng title and crown... Its hilarious to see kO, usual english speaking starts to sprout flawless hokkien + profanities.. It never seize to amaze me.

Anyway, enough about loud mouth men - this week has passed by almost at a snap of the fingers. Its already Thursday night, Friday... ... cool! I'm planning to start work at 6:30 tomorrow so, automatically I get a 1/2 day... well, technically speaking, its not a 1/2 day, because, I start at 6:30, I end at half past 3. I really got to instill discipline in myself to go leave at half past 3 tomorrow...

It seems that I'm leaving work later and later and later... its a bad work bug to catch honestly. But, with two newbie coming on board soon, the team is glad to have some work taken off their plate. phew! thank goodness!

Plans for tomorrow - shopping with the designer for taps/sink/shower heads. You'll be amaze at how much one of those cost. Man! was that a shocker! One dumb lookng tap can cost one average 300 bucks ? and, that's what we call average range. Can you beat that.... i wonder how much a platinum tap cost...hahhahhahah.... with sapphire studds bordering the switch rod that controls the water flow... Can be quite gawdy actually, come to think of it.. Ok. Enough of disgusting and nightmarish taps.

The weekends are round the corner... and i hope momoo doesn't spend all his time watching the footie. We need to get things done! argh! i hate that. Honestly, I don't mind slagging around, watching matches.. but, that's only at night.

Did you hear about this piece of news ??? Hoooray!!! yipee!! momoo has no place to smoke now... Hah-Hah... Sorry momoo-dearie, I hope you are reading this. :P Its good to smoke lesser... ya know....

But then, its pretty tough of the garmen to pose such a public ruling. . . I guess there's 2 sides of a coin for whatever decision is made.

hi all - been trying to blog since the last time I did. Wanted to update on the thoughts that ran through my head after watchin da vinci.... and the various updates that I have my new home... its all so very exciting - but i just don't seem to be able to blog.

soooo...above are a couple of liners to keep you guys in the loop of things, and I do hope I'll get the opportunity to be up to speed on more details & blogging.

the weekends are here! whoopee! more shopping for the house - more dvd watching... and as much sleep I can catch...
