Contactless and The Bak Kua Story

Hello snippies... no contact for the past 1 week since I upgraded my access from User to Administrator on my system. (",) No contact on MSN. Sob. I've been BLOCKED!

Sigh.. oh well - not that I have the time to chat anymore really. But occasional "hellos" from friends around do really perk my day.

The weekend that just past was a lazy one. We spend a full Saturday out, letting Phui Phui have his run of the park. He did enjoy himself from chasing all his friends round and round, to the dip in the doggie pool. He has finally found the wonders of cool water on a hot afternoon.

His still really careful when his in water, and he takes special notes of where the deeper ends are. He'll avoid those little corners.

Phui will wade cautiously in the pool - usually wide eyed. But, he never makes sudden movements nor run in the water. He just moves in slow-mo. Tee-Hee-Hee... scare-dy cat. MEOW-MEOW.

Our Phui boy had his load of fun and return home in the evening with a cram right paw. (",)

He walks really slowly and his so frighten to put any weight on his right front paw... We got worried initially, thinking it could be a sprain. But, we decided to watch and monitor him first.

He seemed to be in so much discomfort on Sunday and Monday. He walked with his front legs bend all the time and didn't dare to jump off the sofa or even, the tiny little raised platform. Poor boy!

Our little boy was such an angel for the past 2 days, however, PD and mine quiet lovely haven was cruely taken away again last evening.

Phui boy had stretched out his cramed and aching paw and was in niffy condition again.

GASP!

We caught him eating a pack of bak kuah happily when PD was in the shower and I was on my way home from work. The story went on like this :

PD came back from work, and decided to have a little sweet meat - and took it out of its package and took 1 tinee winee piece out - thinking of enjoying the rest of lovely slightly burnt ones for later savouring. He checked on Phui who was innocently bitting his bone in the living room.

PD wrapped the bak kua back and left it on the dinning table, took his towl and headed into the shower. PD generally showers pretty quickly. In less then 5mins time, he was out. Totally cooledand squeaky clean.

But to his utter surprise, he saw Phui boy licking the floor, with the bak kua wrapper on next to him. Phui looked at his daddy and decided that it wasn't wise to be sitting next to the wrapper and decided to get ready for a quick escape.

Unfortunately for the little white boy, he got caught, smacked and imprison by PD before he could turn tail and hide.

On the whole - phui felt that it was totally worth it... for that yummy package of bak kua... despite being smacked, scolded and punished....*BURP*...

Sigh..
