A Not so Bad Monday

had a pretty good start to the week today, well, despite the fact that i spent close to 45min dressing up. Its quite an unthinkable stunt for me to pull. I don't usually take that long to "doll-up" really. I'm that kind of girl that's ready to go for a wedding dinner in just 20minutes flat. That includes shower, deciding what to wear, make-up and hair. Pretty impressive eh ? Well, its not just talk - i did just that for a friends dinner a couple of months back. So... to take 45min to get ready to go to work, its pretty unusual for me.

What causes me to take eions to get ready for work, you might think.. well, i have no answer...errr.. its just one of those days ??? Well, since there's nothing or no one to pin the blame on, i think i shall just conveniently point the finger on that new pair of dress pants i bought.. or should it be that impossible blouse that i picked??? well, it has to be the pants ... I just don't know why i look kinda weird in that pants - its as if i'm wearing bloomers, except that it goes round below my ankles. I look like some geek whose got terrible dress sense. i was trying to make myself wear that dress pants (well, since its new, and i have got to wear it) and tried on different things with it.. well, it just proved itself hideous after the whole 35min. In the end, i ditched it - which i wish i had decided it much earlier, and was by then really late for work.

Well, at that - my mum's suggestion echoed in my head : " why don't you just decide what you're going to wear the nite before?" !!!! Exclaimations, Exclaimations, Exclaimations... who in the world does that???!!! i wonder? gosh! i find that a total waste of my precious time. On hind side, i wasted more then 30minutes finding that my new dress pants make me look like a clown. *sob*

But.. still.. i don't think what happen this morning is going to make me decide a day earlier on what to wear. Well, and what happen today isn't really first time. Let's just say that i don't really do learn from my lessons in this case... ... (",)
