Preening
hi, it seems that i've been whinning for the past few entries. sorry guys! but really - like what i say, its easier to spend time whining then jotting down all the fun i had. I mean, like everyone says, time flies when you're having fun, so, if i'm having fun, the time just zips by, without me having enough of it to write anything in this blog. Make sense ???
Anyway, i thought i'll recount my very first experience to the manicurist... yes! a girlie thing to do isn't it. Well, i ain't proud of that, thought some of my girlfrens declare "you're a girl!!!!what's wrong with that!!!" i know-i know - but i just can't help feeling like i'm some docile, weakling, preening around with my well groomed finger nails and toe nails. Get the picture?
I think it was a weird feeling having someone working at your fingers and toes. . like cutting, polishing, that sort of thing. The last time i had anyone do that for me was when i was, what - 12? and, that was my ma-mmy who did it for. So, its really strange and awkward to have it done that way. As for the hearsay that its painful.. (all thanks to steph, a fren of mine who walked funniely after her first manicure/pedicure visit).. its not that painful .. not as if the rats has got your digits or anything like that.. So, that's my very first visit to do some girlie stuff. (",) thank goodness i didn't spend a hefty sum on doing my nails - i'll probably commit sucide.
